ZONSEN GENERAL POWER Contributes to Support the Satisfactory Success of 2024 Baja，and Aims at strengthening the momentum of off-road vehicle industry with ZS Power

From May 7 to 11, 2024, people in Xiangyang Canyon Town in Hubei Province, with “no mud, no baja”passion on Off-road vehicle racing，welcomed the high-profile 2024 Baja SAE China (Xiangyang Station). 

With the guidance of CAST and support of  SAE China of Xiangyang government, 58 elite teams and nearly 1,800 passionate young people all together presented a wonderful and exciting visual feast of off-road vehicle for everyone.

ZONSEN GENERAL POWER, as a long-term corporate partner of Baja Racing,  provided a strong motivation for this competition once again with its brand strength and good reputation. Each participating team strictly followed the competition rules and racing manufacturing standards, designed and made a small off-road vehicle with ZONSEN GB460 engine, fully involved in all projects, like designing report,commercial marketing in static races, traction, handling, lap timing, special events, endurance in dynamic races etc.

At the scene，professional ZONSEN GENERAL POWER service team went all out, and ensure that every car can ride on the track and fight smoothly without any worries by accurately professional inspection and carefully all-rounded maintenance. 

Competition events included technical inspection, dynamic traction, maneuverability testing, lap timing, special events and endurance performance testing etc., It can be described as wonderful and inspiring. Meanwhile, ZONSEN GB460 showed its excellent performance in these stages, providing a stable engine support for team participating.

At the scene, ZONSEN GENERAL POWER also presented GB460 engine, silent inverter generator and portable power station etc. for all reference. In the interval of the competition, the contestants and the audience stopped to visit  the exhibition area, and know about more details on them.

After the fierce and exciting competition, Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai) became the champion of undergraduate group, Sichuan Engineering Vocational University  became the champion of vocational school group，and Wuhan University of Technology became the champion of electric group. In recognition of the  excellent performance of the participating teams, ZONSEN GENERAL POWER provideD products as prizes to help the winning teams cope with various challenges more calmly in the future races.

With the end of the award ceremony, this competition also came to an end.

Now,the enthusiasm and love for the motor sport is not only just a patent for young people, but also a shinning stage for them to pursue dream bravely, and present talents freely. Baja:

Baja SAE China is a off-road vehicle designing, manufacturing and inspection race involved in undergraduates in colleges and universities and automotive and related majors students in vocational college. Following the successful holding of the Formula Student Car Competition of China (FSC), this event is another new platform for the training of skilled talents launched by the China Automotive Engineering Society.

Baja is Spanish for off-road vehicle. Baja competition, origin in USA in 1976, is

the predecessor of the Formula Student car competition, suitable for vocational colleges and undergraduate students to join.The participating teams design and manufacture a small single-seat, mid-engine, rear-drive off-road vehicle in accordance with the competition rules and racing manufacturing standards at the specified time by using the same type of engine. This is a new way of technical education and engineering practice education, which is both technical and interesting.

Nowadays，it has been a non-education social public platform and non-profit social public services for the searching and training skilled talents in automobile industry.

SAE China introduced Baja racing to China in 2015, and made some adjustment on its stipulations based on the local conditions.

Baja racing connects with static and dynamic competitions. Static races include designing report, commercial marketing, and dynamic races include traction, handling, lap timing, special events, endurance in dynamic races etc.
